My Statement:

You may be feeling overwhelmed, struggling with anxiety or depression, or trying to make sense of something painful. Maybe life has changed, and you’re unsure what comes next. I offer a down-to-earth space where you can speak honestly without feeling rushed or pressured to share more than you’re ready to. Together, we’ll explore what’s been difficult, notice how stress is affecting your mind and body, and find ways to move forward that fit your life.

Experience and Education:

Alyssa Hernandez is a graduate counseling intern who works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and major life changes. She values honest conversation and takes time to understand each client’s experiences, background, and goals.

Her approach is trauma-informed, with attention to how emotions and stress affect both the mind and body. Alyssa helps clients build on their strengths and find ways to manage challenges that fit their daily lives. She welcomes feedback and works with clients to decide what they want from therapy and how to get there.

Outside of work and school, Alyssa enjoys being outdoors, especially off-roading and riding UTVs, ATVs, and dirt bikes. Time on the trails is one of her favorite ways to recharge.
