Ben Marchman, MS, LAPC, is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor with a diverse educational background including a B.A. in Wilderness Leadership and Experiential Education, an M.S. in Environmental Education, and an M.S. in Clinical Counseling with an emphasis in Somatic Psychotherapy. He is also a certified EcoTherapist. Ben brings over a decade of experience across wilderness therapy programs, outpatient clinics, residential treatment centers, and community-based mental health settings.
His therapeutic model integrates gestalt therapy, somatic psychotherapy, mindfulness, and ecotherapy—grounded in humanistic and experiential traditions. Ben’s work is trauma-informed and attachment-focused, supporting clients in exploring unconscious patterns, early relational wounds, and emotional stuck points. He specializes in working with men, young adults, and families, particularly around issues such as trauma, addiction, dual diagnosis, grief, depression, and anxiety.
I help men and adults who feel emotionally stuck, disconnected, or overwhelmed find their way back to a grounded sense of self. My approach is relational, somatic, and experiential, focused on helping you reconnect with the parts of yourself that have been buried, avoided, or shut down. Whether you’re working through trauma, anxiety, grief, addiction, or a general sense of feeling lost, therapy gives you a place to slow down, make sense of your experiences, and rebuild a more honest and embodied connection with yourself and the people in your life. I provide trauma-informed therapy for adults and men’s mental health in Senoia and the surrounding Coweta and Fayette areas, both in-person and online.
